My Purpose & Journey
In Ephesians 2:10, we are reminded that we are "God's masterpiece, created anew in Christ Jesus to do the good works He planned for us long ago."(NLT) For many years, I struggled to believe those words were true about me. It took time, healing, and God's grace for me to truly embrace the truth that I am His masterpiece. That journey inspired me to create The Insecurity Detox.
As I worked through significant trauma in my own life, I discovered that God wasn't just healing the obvious wounds—He was gently restoring parts of my heart I didn't even realize needed healing. With each step, He gave me greater freedom, a stronger sense of identity, and the confidence to walk in the purpose He had planned for me long ago. My Newsletter, RE:New, is a result of this time in my life. I want RE:New to be the place where others find inspiration and encouragement.
As part of that journey, I earned my Master's degree, became a Licensed Professional Counselor, completed training as an Integrative Health Coach, and continued to use my experience as a Registered Dietitian. Today, I have the privilege of integrating these disciplines in my private practice to help women heal emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
My passion is helping women discover who they truly are beneath insecurity, self-doubt, perfectionism, and comparison. I want every woman to know her God-given worth, embrace her unique identity, and confidently step into the life she was created to live. You are not an accident—you are a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
A Little About Me Personally
After living on the Outer Banks of North Carolina for 17 years, I recently returned to Western Pennsylvania to be closer to my parents and family. While I miss the ocean, I'm grateful to be surrounded by the beauty of the mountains and the people I love.
I enjoy spending time outdoors—watching fireflies on warm summer evenings, hiking through colorful autumn forests, and appreciating the simple moments of life. You'll often find me enjoying a good cup of coffee with a friend, sharing a glass of wine on the weekend, reading a great book, browsing antique shops or bookstores, occasionally binge-watching a show, or learning something new. One of my newest creative pursuits is photography.
I also share life with my seven-year-old Husky/German Shepherd mix, Ollie, who keeps me laughing and reminds me daily to enjoy life's adventures.
